People arrive. Bride and Groom and immediate family go to dinner; others are free to sample the cuisines of Waltham or explore Boston. Some of Rebecca’s relatives will be having a Shabbos dinner.

Saturday, September 8, 2001

(Probably) 10:00 am Tentatively, Duck Tour of Boston, leaving from the corner of Washington Street and Franklin Street in Downtown Crossing (the Downtown Crossing/Washington stop on the Red Line). We are not certain about the reservations so check back for updates. The tour takes 80 minutes.

12:00 pm Lunch and singing at the IIB (International Institute of Boston) 3rd floor function room. We are planning to supply Vietnamese food. Bring song books, musical instruments, memories, cameras, and be prepared to have a great time either joining in on songs from the 50s and 60s, folk songs and rounds, or just listening!

Sunday, September 9, 2001

12:00 pm Wedding ceremony at the Mount Auburn VFW Hall in Cambridge (site of great New England contra dancing on Thursday nights).

The meal will be potluck, served buffet style. Travelers from out of town are not expected to bring food, nor are those who would rather not cook.  Your presence alone is gift enough!

Ceremonial and Klezmer dance music will be provided by the fabulous Twelve Corners Klezmer Band of Rochester, NY. Scottish, English, and contra dance music will be provided by Barbara McOwen and an all-star band.
